EduMic and ConnectClip comparison

Oticon offers two remote microphone solutions to help hearing aid wearers navigate the challenges of listening in noisy environments: the ConnectClip and EduMic.

While both are effective solutions that can assist hearing aid wearers, the EduMic has several benefits compared to the ConnectClip that make it a more suitable option when choosing a solution for an educational setting.

Multiple Users
The EduMic can be paired with multiple sets of hearing aids, so teachers will only need to wear one transmitter for multiple students.

Telecoil
The EduMic has the added benefit of a telecoil, wich gives wearers access to teleloop system , even if they do not have a telecoil in their hearing aids.

Ease of use
The EduMic has been design with ease of use and practicality in mind with features such as automatic program changes, and a mute button so the teacher can mute the sound when having a conversation with other students.

Audio Jack input
The EduMic has a direct audio input jack that allows students to stream media directly to their hearing aids.
